It was also the time for getting to know the applicants, discovering their talents and skills. Indeed,
"That's the goal. Just to go out and not try to prove anybody wrong but just let your talents speak for themselves." - Robert Griffin III

NIMBB's very own Sir Alvin Bello hosted the event together with the academic committee head and MBBS members as well.
Five team finalists composed of students from St. Jude Catholic School, Philippine Science Highschool and Chiang Kai Shek College were cut down to two teams at the last leg of the competition, as ended by a clincher round between the latter two schools mentioned. Thereafter, trophies and certificates were distributed to the winners and to each participant, respectively.

Questions were prepared by the Organization from math to geology to biology to chemistry and molecular biology lessons, name it! Not to mention, talented members performed an intermission number by playing instruments that stole the audience's attention.
An indubitably incredible, mind-boggling event that fed everyone's thirst for savoir faire.

Activities: Sem Starter and Committee Wars
The first week of this semester bore witness to the first GENERAL ASSEMBLY and COMMITTEE WARS of the UP MBBS for this academic year, which was held last June 8, 2013.
For the afternoon, the committee wars was held. With their game faces on, committee members battled it out with each other to get their hands on the much coveted prize - that is, mentos and other delectable, totally-worth-fighting-for candy bags. The challenges each committee had to face included doctor quack-quack, the counting game, transporting a ball on strings and pvc, and even sitting on each other’s legs for minutes at a time. The Academics Committee emerged victorious and thus received the goods (which they shared with everyone). In the end, the committee wars achieved what it was designed for in the first place: strengthening the bond members.
GO, UP MBBS!
